No way! I hope this statement was taken out of context because it is completely inaccurate. There are not people starving from a lack of food production or an incapability to produce more food. People starve for the ideals, beliefs and politics of those who control the power.

*Actually, biofuels, in my opinion, DO take food away from starving people. There are people starving next door to me, down the street. My neighbourhood is FULL of starving people. There are families all over my city who are hungry. If we begin to use our crops for biofuels, food prices will rise, further disabling those people in society who are already struggling to feed themselves and their families.
